S-body (screw-in) Type ValveShield®

Designed to fit into the East Jordan 8550 Screw Type 5-1/4” Valve Box and similar domestic and foreign castings, this ValveShield® screws into the top riser using its own internal adjustment threads. An attached 4” by 14” reusable filter hangs below the handle, capturing up to 14 pounds of dirt and debris and preventing the valve from becoming clogged. A color-coded handle cover is included to protect a GIS identifier or QR code label.

D-body (drop-in) type ValveShield®

Designed to fit into the East Jordan 8555 Slip Type 5-1/4” Valve Box and similar domestic and foreign castings, this ValveShield® drops directly into the base. An attached 4” by 14” reusable filter hangs below the handle, capturing up to 14 pounds of dirt and debris and preventing the valve from becoming clogged. A color-coded handle cover is included to protect a GIS identifier or QR code label.
